Savage Macbeth, a new negotiation skills and commercial conflict resolution business, has won the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) East of England Start-Up Business of the Year award for 2023.

 

Twelve awards were contested, with Savage Macbeth winning the East of England Start-Up category, beating six other finalists. The awards took place at Rowley Mile Racecourse, Newmarket on the afternoon of Friday 17th March with approximately 200 people in attendance from a variety of small businesses.

 

The FSB Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of small businesses and the self-employed across the UK.  As the largest event of its kind in the small business calendar, the awards attracted over 3,000 entrants in 2023.

 

Savage Macbeth has been in business since January 2021, created during the Covid 19 pandemic. The company provides negotiation skills and commercial conflict resolution, helping clients to develop their negotiation and commercial conflict expertise. Clients build confidence and skills, integrating emotional intelligence with insights, concepts, process and practice.

 

Sam Macbeth, Chief Negotiation Officer and co-owner of the business said,

Having won the regional award, Savage Macbeth will now compete against other regional winners in the prestigious UK finals in May 2023. This offers the chance to be crowned the UK Small Business of the Year. Entrants will be judged by a panel of leading business experts with a wealth of experience in their industry.
